Bryn Jones Investment Manager
Bryn joined Rathbones in November 2004 and manages the Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund alongside Julian Chillingworth. He has a significant involvement in several internal committees including the Banking Committee; the Third Party Funds Committee, and the Strategic Asset Allocation Committee. In addition, he chairs the Fixed Income Committee. Bryn is also the principal spokesperson on fixed income for Rathbones for the national and international media, including CNBC and Bloomberg TV.
Bryn has over 12 years of investment experience in both equity and fixed income markets, gained with organisations such as Robert Fleming Investment Management, Coutts & Co., and Schroder Investment Management. Immediately prior to joining Rathbones, he was Portfolio Manager (Assistant Vice President) - Fixed Income at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. Latterly, this was within the private investors' division, managing a wide range of portfolios including institutional charity accounts; the fixed income component of Merrill Lynch Balanced and the Merrill Lynch Income portfolios; unauthorised unit trusts; and segregated private client portfolios.
Bryn has a BA Honours in Geography. He holds the Investment Management Certificate and the IAQ Merit Award.
