Marina Bond Investment Manager
Marina joined Rathbones in February 2000 after graduating from Durham University with first class BSc Honours in Natural Sciences (Philosophy and Archaeology). She is co-manager of the Rathbone Recovery Fund, along with Chief Investment Officer Julian Chillingworth, and assisted by Alan Dobbie (Assistant Fund Manager). Previously, Marina managed the Rathbone Smaller Companies Fund which, in July 2009, was merged with the Rathbone Special Situations Fund and renamed the Rathbone Recovery Fund. She has 10 years experience of analysing small and mid-cap companies.
Marina holds the Investment Management Certificate and the Securities Institute Diploma. She is also a Fellow of the Securities Institute.
Marina enjoys travelling to countries that are more 'off the beaten track', including Vietnam and Laos; South Korea; Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan; Georgia; Tajikistan; Iran and most recently, Yemen.
