An authorised UK open-ended investment company (OEIC) offering two well-diversified hybrid multi asset funds investing in traditional long-only equity and fixed income funds and harnessing alternative investments in a blend of strategies.
The market
For your clients, the funds can be:
- a core holding for those seeking to generate long term absolute returns at a lower volatility than the equity markets.
- ideal for anyone saving for a pension or as a core holding in an overall investment portfolio.
- a value-added holding for more sophisticated investors who wish to dampen volatility of returns over the longer term.
For the IFA:
- asset allocation decisions and investment risks are outsourced or simplified.
- these funds offer access to tools not readily available to them such as alternatives which are actively-managed (for IFAs who prefer to asset allocate).
These two new vehicles complement our existing single-strategy, directly-invested range of funds and provide the broader market with core products that play to the strengths of Rathbones. They have been designed to meet client requirements and to achieve absolute rather than relative outcomes and we are focused on using the core of our wealth management expertise and investment process to bring multi-asset portfolios to the wider market.
