The Financial Services Authority has granted approval of our fund merger plans. We are now writing to all unitholders involved with a view to gaining their approval at a meeting 8 July 2009.

Subject to FSA and unitholder approval we propose to arrange the rationalisation of a the number of retail funds we manage by means of fund reconstructions. Rathbone Unit Trust Management (RUTM) confirms that with effect from 1 March 2009, the Rathbone Income and Growth Fund was renamed the Rathbone Blue Chip Income and Growth Fund. In doing this, the fund will have a name which highlights where the fund is invested.
